Spicewood Vineyards Wedding | Ukrainian Boho Geometric
This couple’s Spicewood Vineyards wedding was totally stunning & unique! The bride’s Mara Hoffman dress literally stopped me in my tracks – WOW! – and set the tone for this boho geometric wedding theme, including the colorful patterns of the bridesmaids dresses. The groom is from the Ukraine, so his family was unfortunately not able to make it, but Ukrainian touches were incorporated in homage via the Ukrainian table runners, Ukrainian doll centerpieces & the Russian band Flying Balalaika Brothers.
This sweet outdoor ceremony began with the bride being walked down the aisle by her father and 4 year old son. Andrey gifted her son a pocket watch during the ceremony that left most attendees teary-eyed. These portraits in the vineyard and at dusk are some of my absolute favorites, and you can just see their love for each other exuded in each photos!
Andrey’s parents watched on via Skype with a translator at 5am from the Ukraine, and were able to see the whole evening unfold. Ryann was even “kidnapped” during the reception, a Ukrainian tradition, and Andrey and his groomsmen were forced to dance for everyone to get her back. Hilarious! And awesome dance party headlined the reception, complete with a unicorn mask, until the couple ran hand in hand through a tunnel of sparklers to exit!
A picture perfect Spicewood Vineyards wedding day!
