Omni Barton Creek Hill Country Austin Wedding | Cory Ryan Photography
What a fantastically fun wedding this was at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa! Coordinated by the incredibly talented The Whitt Experience, the bride and groom held a colorful fall hill country wedding with touches of watercolor details, echoed from the invitation suite and throughout the wedding day signage. Their venue, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, just completed an extensive renovation and expansion elevating them to one of the most luxurious resorts in the Lone Star State. Furthermore, the reception pavilion’s observation deck displays stunning views and seamless access to two sweeping event lawns. Ready for cocktail hour in the Hill Country? We couldn’t be more smitten with this Omni Barton Creek Hill Country Austin wedding!
Wedding Day Was Here at Last!
The bride got ready with her friends, mom, & sister in the bridal suite. The room radiated giant cheers from them all throughout the morning as they wore their matching PJs. Once the bride was ready, it was time for the first look. The look on the groom’s face when he turned around to see her for the first time was priceless! They shared some tender moments alone together before the festivities went underway. For the ceremony, they chose to have a stunning lawn wedding, and their vows made everyone smile. The rolling hills in the background created beautiful couple’s portraits, and the giant flower boxes framing the back edge of the ceremony was such a sophisticated touch that added the perfect floral pop. The newlyweds had so much fun with their first official portraits as husband and wife!
A Celebration to Remember
The reception boasted teal velvet linens, twinkle lights hanging from the ceiling, and gorgeous table bouquets by Westbank Floral all providing the perfect compliment to the event design. The bride and groom joined their guests and danced their first dance with live musical accompaniment by their band, Blind Date. After the Father-Daughter Dance, the band surprised Dad by playing his favorite song, “Hey Ya” by Outkast! Everyone loved it, and her dad might have shed a quick tear before getting his dance on. The happy couple then changed into their dancing sneakers: she chose killer high top Golden Goose sneakers & and he was gifted black and gold Coming to America sneakers. The guests celebrated with light up floral necklaces and cutouts of the bride and groom as babies for some dance floor fun later in the night. Everyone got on stage to sing and dance with the band throughout the night. Cheers filled the room as the bride and groom caught some air while being hoisted in chairs by the groomsmen. They made their exit among a shower of rose petals and cheers from their friends and loved ones.
