The logo and British flag tipped guests off that the theme was Rolling Stones, and the location took place at the Austin City Limits 3TEN ACL Live music space, so this Austin event photographer was excited from the start. From the moment we arrived, we were all back in the rock era at a live concert. The energy was amazing, and there wasn’t a single guest who wasn’t rocking out! Events brought this event to life with no detail missed! David Kurio Designs included Rolling Stone icon patches into each vivid and creative floral piece. One gigantic, colorful floral piece perfectly placed behind a set of white leather couches gave the whole room its WOW factor. I love the combination of chic and relaxing places to sit (both inside and out). But they kept plenty of room in front of the stage to dance and sing along with the tunes. Simon Lee Bakery made an incredibly realistic red guitar and amp cake that everyone oohed and ahhed over.

A VIP room was set aside for family and their guests, complete with British flag throw pillows and cushiony velvet benches. The birthday hosts welcomed everyone and kicked off their surprise guests’ first set, the incredible Jumping Jack Flash band (flown in from Los Angeles, CA). Their wardrobe changes, immaculate styling, and twin dance moves made it hard to believe they were a cover band. Their tributes to the Rolling Stones were spot on! After family toasts and a lot of rock n roll, guests were treated to late-night burgers, fries, and cookies before the last celebratory band set was complete – a night to remember, for sure!
