FAQ

What is your wedding pricing?

Please contact me for more detailed information regarding pricing and availability. Wedding packages start at $3,300 with complete packages starting at $4900. And remember, I am always happy to customize a package to your specific needs! Dates get booked fast, so please contact me soon with your wedding date to check for availability.

How much do you charge for travel to destination weddings?

My fee for destination wedding travel varies depending on the location, time of your event, and whether an overnight stay is required.

Most of my weddings take place in Austin, Hill Country, Wimberly, Dripping Springs, San Antonio and surrounding Texas area, but we have photographed weddings all over! So if you’re planning a destination wedding, take us along with you. Weddings beyond 60 miles of Austin, TX will incur some travel fees. You will find my travel fees quite reasonable, so just ask!

Are you available for in-person consultations?

Absolutely! I would be happy to meet with you before booking. Just send me a note with your availability and we’ll set up time to get together. I am never too busy to chat on the phone with you about your plans, or share any information I have with you.

How far in advance do I need to book you?

For the most part, I book up about six months to one year out from your wedding date. Popular and long weekends tend to book up faster so it’s best to get in touch as soon as you have a date solidified. Unfortunately I cannot hold dates for anyone without a signed contract and retainer.

How can we go about booking you for our event?

Simply give me a call or email me with the time and date of your event. I’ll let you know if I am available and we can set up a consultation meeting. After that, you simply sign the online contract and pay your retainer fee (which is applied towards your balance)

to officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks prior to your event.

Will you be the main photographer at my event?

I am the primary shooter at every wedding booked! With years of wedding experience, I’ve seen and solved every difficult lighting situation you can think of. We come to every wedding prepared with lighting equipment that we may or may not need to make sure we nail it every time. There are no second chances to capture a once-in-a-lifetime moment, so be sure you hire a profession photographer you can trust.

Will there be a second photographer at our wedding?

Yes! All my packages include a second photographing assistant. One person just can’t be everywhere at once!

Do I receive a copy of the high-resolution digital files?

You receive unlimited personal use rights to the digital files. These high-resolution JPEG files will be delivered on an archival DVD and have been color corrected & edited in Photoshop prior to being delivered. I reserve the right to use images I take at your event in future promotions & advertising.

How long before we can see our photos?

Your images will be delivered within 4-8 weeks after the event, depending on what time of year you get married. April, May, October, and November are busier wedding months, and therefore may result in a longer turnaround time. This ensures that all clients’ images meet our quality and consistency standards.

Will you post my event photos online?

Yes, friends and family *love* this! An online viewing and ordering gallery is included with all wedding photography packages. My online gallery photo orders are printed by professional printers, so you can rest assured you will receive high quality images on archival photo paper.

Can we choose the pictures that go into our album?

Yes, depending on the number of pages in your album, you can choose some of your favorite images. Every album is custom designed to be 100% unique and will include a combination of our favorite photos. Each album will be posted online for approval before it is sent to be published.

What if I decide I want you to stay longer at the actual event?

Extra time is billed at $300/hour.

Where can I find examples of your commercial work?

I currently own & operate a second photography business called Eye Candy Photography (link to http://www.eyecandyaustin.com). I’ve won 3 golden boots at the 2009 and 2010 Austin Fashion Awards, including “Criticis Pick for Best Overall Photographer” in 2010! My commercial & editorial experience is definitely an added benefit to enhance your wedding day photos!
