Canyonwood Ridge Wedding :: Hallye & Bayne

Hallye and Bayne’s spring Canyonwood Ridge wedding was planned and coordinated by Pearl Events. The couple’s wedding day was truly a stunning in every way! The bride wore her mom’s vintage Bianchi gown, which was updated by Coutures By Laura, while preserving the beautiful lace, beading, and tons of seed pearls. I can’t imagine a sweeter sentiment for a bride and her daughter! With fear of rain and windy conditions, the ceremony was moved inside. The light inside the chapel area was soft and dreamy for the couple’s romantic ceremony. Bayne wasn’t able to hold back his tears when he saw the gorgeous Hallye escorted down the aisle. Hallye’s giant smile lit up every room she entered, and you can tell from all the photos that she literally enjoyed every minute of her wedding day! The entire bridal party was looking dapper, and I particularly loved the unique lavender and white striped bridesmaid dresses, as well as the groom’s white tuxedo jacket. The colorful flowers by Bouquets of Austin brought fun and whimsy to the ceremony backdrop and table tops. Some centerpieces even reflected the butterfly theme seen throughout the decor that day, in memory of Hallye’s father. It was extremely windy when we went outside for photos, but we used it to our advantage to showcase Hallye’s gorgeous veil! After a delicious comfort food dinner by Royal Fig, The Pictures Band pumped up the jams and the dance floor went crazy! Guests swung glow sticks around, and the whole wedding party even got on stage to dance as the bride’s sister sang along with the band for one song. The confetti drop wowed everyone and was a fun surprise! As a finale to the reception, the couple exited to a sea of sparklers into their getaway car. Huge congratulations Hallye & Bayne!

South Congress Hotel Wedding :: Chelsea & Cecil

I’ve been to some fun weddings in the past decade, but Chelsea & Cecil’s wedding really takes the cake (so to speak, ha ha!). The couple chose to tie the knot at the brand spanking new South Congress Hotel, which provided a plethora of beautiful modern architecture for stunning photos. And even though it rained off and on all day, the couple took it in stride and didn’t let some sprinkles slow down their wedding day celebration! As you can see, we weren’t able to get a sunset with all the clouds, but these blue poolside and South Congress dusk shots more than make up for it!!! Pearl Events planned and organized this super fun and personalized day, which started with the couple greeting their guests as they arrive – what a fun, non-traditional way to do things! The guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers, with giant gold foil balloons spelling out the couple’s name on the foyer wall. Then the bride, escorted by her adorable nephew, and groom entered the ballroom through separate doors and met to hold hands under the Hindu mandap for their ceremony, with all of the guests’ tables surrounding them. After they were declared married, the couple went straight into their first dance under the impressive floral mandap by Pollen Floral Art – I mean, look at those gorgeous blooms! Guests enjoyed an amazingly delicious dinner, followed by not ONE, but TWO surprise entertainers, Mariachi Estrella, followed by Austin Samba School, complete with fully decked out dancers and dozens of drummers. Everyone took the dance party out into the rain for the incredible samba performance, and no one even cared that it was raining because they were having too good of a time! Once the performance was over, Austin Pro DJ kept the party hopping inside on the dance floor. And let me tell you, this was a dancing crowd! Friends and family formed two lines and Chelsea & Cecil had a Soul Train exit as they went down the middle of the line and danced their way all the way to the elevators! Big congratulations to the newlyweds on your incredible South Congress Hotel wedding!!! To sign up for event notifications and order prints, click here.

Indoor Mercury Hall Jewish Wedding :: Erin & Bob

Erin & Bob envisioned their big day to be intimate and casual, yet sophisticated. With the assistance of Pearl Events and delicious catering by Royal Fig, they pulled off the wedding day they imaged! The couple opted for a first look, and the expression on Bob’s face is just absolutely priceless. Erin was absolutely stunning, and the energy between them was palpable! The ceremony did have to get moved inside due to a forecast for rain, but it resulted in a unique format where the guests seated at their dining tables, and the decorated chuppah was centered in-between everyone. The Jewish wedding ceremony took place under the chuppah after the private ketubah signing prior to the guests arrival. Bob stomped on the glass and the guests erupted in cheers and clapping. The wedding day was also an opportunity to honor their family, friends and their new family unit by joining together with Bob’s two children. The closeness between the families was very present, and I especially enjoyed Erin’s heartfelt toast thanking her sweet mother! It was an emotional day, but full of happiness indeed. Big congratulations Erin & Bob!
