Colorful Austin Maternity Photographer :: Allison & Cameron

My heart is exploding with joy for this new set of stylish poolside baby bump photos for Allison & Cameron! It is such an incredible honor to follow my previous wedding couples through all of life’s new milestones! 💕 Thank you for trusting this Austin maternity photographer with such important images of that beautiful baby bump!

The couple took advantage of a babymoon staycation at the colorful and hip Austin Motel on South Congress Ave in Austin, TX by using it for the backdrop for this awesome session. The colorful poolside murals by local Austin artist Jason Archer and fun architectural design elements make it the perfect austin photography location. Newly renovated just a few years ago, the rooms also are covered in amazing patterns like the giant red lips in their suite.

And I think it’s important with an upbeat and hilarious couple like this, that the photos reflect their personalities. And now I am also obsessed with these amazing kimono kaftans. This joyful couple will undoubtedly make the most amazing parents. Only 5 weeks to go from when these photos were taken!

Floral Fall Springdale Farm Wedding Austin :: Carrie & Andrew

Today’s featured Springdale Farm wedding took place in the heart of East Austin on a gorgeous fall day! Carrie & Andrew met while working at Austin Pets Alive, so the animal-lover in their hearts brought them together. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready in a super stylish on-site Airstream trailer. The bridesmaids wore navy dresses with huge orange and green florals, which looked so amazing matched with the greens of the garden and the creative Petals Ink bouquets. Carrie’s effortless style was the perfect compliment to the boho farm vibe, and I just adore how Andrew looks at her. After their sweet vows under the ceremony oak, the couple posed for photos with the “Best Dog” Hemingway (one of the couple’s three dogs, actually!). You can tell by all the adorable photos that this pooch is very loved! Everyone dined and toasted the couple under the farm trees at long tables encircling the dance tent. Eden East, known for their delicious farm to table dinners, catered with food from the farm they got married at! For dessert, the couple chose their favorite tiramisu from Enoteca Vespaio, as well as giant A & C initial donuts for some color and fun! DJ Bryan Olivas brought the reception home with a big ole dance party till the end! Huge congrats Carrie & Andrew!

Rain Lily Austin Farm Wedding Photographers :: Ashley & David

The bride, Ashley, describes her dream wedding day as a “cocktail party festival on a farm”. Taking place on Halloween weekend, and planned by Events Boutique, this fall Austin farm wedding was a stunner. Ashley got ready with her girls in the property’s house, and teared up several times as the emotions began to build. After her hair and make-up by Kiss N Make-Up was perfected, she slipped into her cap sleeve, beaded & lace wedding dress (complete with something blue undies). Her first look with David was definitely a tear jerker, but the happiness and hugs prevailed. We wandered the farm property for some joyful and romantic couple’s photos before guests began to arrive. One especially hilarious moment, seen below, was when the tequila donkey’s arrived. As they were being loaded off the trailer for their wedding appearance, we heard “HEEEEEE HAWWWWWWWWW!” so loud that we all just spontaneously died laughing. Such perfect smiles!!! The donkeys later wandered around the reception wearing sombreros and Mexican blankets while passing out shot glass necklaces and shots.

After photos, the ceremony began in front of the giant circular floral ceremony arch designed to perfection by Zinnia & Co, with the farm itself serving as the backdrop while the sun began to set. The bridesmaids all picked green dresses of their own choosing, which created a flattering array of complimentary hues to the lush greenery surrounding them. The stylishly eclectic florals paired with green vintage wine goblets created a stunning visual combo, while twinkle lights criss crossed above the couple while they dined al fresco on long dark-wood farm bench tables. In a hilarious turn of events, the couple was toasted from guests who climbed up into a children’s tree house from above. Ha! Huge congratulations to Ashley & Dave, and thank you for allowing me the honor of documenting your wedding day!

PS – And I’m not the only one that LOVES this wedding. Be sure to check out the 7 Centerpieces blog feature on this wedding as well!

Austin Indian Engagement Photos

This Austin, TX based couple was off to India to tie the knot just weeks after this downtown Austin engagement session took place! We used the backdrop of the 2nd Street District and Ladybird Lake for a creative combo of colorful murals, romantic twinkle lights, and the beautiful water for our backdrops. All in all, the best of all worlds that Austin has to offer for the best Austin Indian engagement photos!

It was so much fun to wander around town with you two, and witness all the loves, smiles and hugs you have for each other. Congrats you two lovebirds!  View more Indian wedding and engagement photos from the blog by clicking here.
