If you're a hip and modern bride, why spend your wedding day with a cookie-cutter wedding photographer? I'm devoted to creating vivid images, rich with personality and individuality. And I promise that your wedding day will be every bit as fun as the photos themselves.
I am currently based in Austin, Texas, but I am available for travel worldwide. I absolutely *love* shooting destination weddings, so send me an email for more information on my super reasonable travel rates!
The beautiful Chelsea married her fiance Dustin this past weekend at the lovely Spicewood Vineyards, so now I can finally share her bridals with you! We had a blast photographing this session at the lovely wedding venue Le San Michele. The venue boasts timeless decor with wonderful pops of color, and seriously gorgeous gardens. We timed this session to perfection with the sun setting on the property as Chelsea turned on her mega-watt smile and struck a pose. Dustin is one lucky man!!!
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding since Elizabeth’s Jackie -O-inspired, all black & white bridal session. Elizabeth rocked a beautiful long sheath BHLDN wedding dress with a tiny bow on the waist line, which she accentuated with a rhinestone belt and nude Jimmy Choos. Did I mention she has amazing style? One of the reasons I love photographing W hotel weddings is that the decor oozes classy charm on it’s own. But add a creative couples personal touches, you’ve got a heck of a party with lots of eye candy and lovely details! (Which also comes in handy when it decides to pour rain, and you have an awesome ballroom to have your own private party in.) From start to finish, Elizabeth & Aaron’s wedding day was totally personalized. The ceremony actually took place in the record room by the fireplace, with only the closest 50 family and friends in attendance. The party then moved upstairs where an R&B trio entertained 150+ guests during cocktail hour, which was complete with signature drinks and a sweet toast from Aaron to Elizabeth. Then the doors opened to a lovely ballroom decorated in shades of cream and grey. White lounge sofas and furniture surrounded the dance floor and cupcake table, allowing for a laid-back party atmosphere. The centerpieces included hand wrapped books in the wedding colors, plus silver vases in cool geometric shapes, holding a variety of white flowers. And would you believe Elizabeth is a semi-professional baker? She actually made all her own cupcakes for the gorgeous display you see! Greenbelt DJ was the proverbial “icing on the reception cake”, spinning the couples OWN records into the dance party mix. AMAZING! Big congrats go out to Elizabeth and Aaron, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day!

It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed this hard during an engagement session! Karaline and Bobby both have an incredible sense of humor, and I loved documenting how much they make each other laugh! I know that will come in handy during their years of marriage. :) They also mastered and named two of their own signature poses – “the lookaway” and “the snuggle” – which I found quite impressive. We wandered around several blocks of South Congress for the urban part of their engagement session, followed by a little bit of nature at dusk. Thank you guys for sharing all your fun, quirky and sweet moments with me… I can’t wait for your awesome wedding next spring!

Much love, Cory
Megan & Patrick came all the way from Chicago to tie the knot here in the lovely Austin, Texas! Megan chose an Augusta Jones strapless lace gown for her dig day, tied together with classic pink and white rose accents throughout the florals. After a full catholic mass at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, we all hopped on the Austin Trolley Company trolley with their awesome wedding party for some fun photos at The Texas Capitol grounds. We made some extra time for Megan’s bridal portraits since she wasn’t able to make it down from Chicago for a separate bridal session. I loved having the relaxed and extended photo time between the ceremony and reception for all the portraits – it was heaven! The couple enjoyed a private dinner at The Austin Club before making their grand entrance into their first dance. One of the sweetest parts of the reception was when Megan cried watching the anniversary dance. The couple recognized her grandparents for 57 years of marriage with a special bouquet, and a big emotional tear-filled hug. Greenbelt DJ got the party started with some sweet dance tunes – complete with a few break-dancing moves by wedding guests! It was worth dodging a foot 2 inches from my face to get those photos! :) Big thanks to Something To Celebrate for ensuring such a smooth wedding day!
