Patrick and Rhianna’s main goal for their wedding day was to have a huge party! Every single person in the wedding party came from out of state, so they were all out to have an amazing time. Here are some words from the bride herself: “This is basically a huge party for us. We’ve been married for almost two years because of my father’s deployment…and everyone is just so excited to be finally getting together. So, I mean, the building can blow up and we’d just take it outside.” Awesome! They had already been married for a couple of years at this point, but waited for her father’s return to have the celebration. Rhianna and her father also did a first look, which was super sweet – a great idea for brides wanting that special moment with their father. I might have teared up a little, but you’ll never know…
The wedding took place at The Studio at Fischer, which is actually a giant commercial photography studio. The place was overflowing with tons of little white lights, color, and an amazing black and white tiled floor. Their decorations were inspired by the “Kiss the Girl” scene from The Little Mermaid with small manzanita trees with tiny lights that twinkle on and off. And the bouquets were all handmade by Rhianna and her bridesmaids, with giant cascading peacock feathers entwined throughout the flowers. The amazingly unique wedding cake was made by Michelle’s Patisserie out of Austin, and was absolutely delicious! It started with white at the top and then faded to purple at the bottom. After dinner provided by Austin landmark Threadgill’s, most of the night consisted of dancing, dancing, and more dancing. It was so much fun watching them all bust moves on the dance floor and we had LOTS of photos to prove it!
Congratulations Patrick and Rhianna! We had an absolute blast at your wedding, and loved so many of the photos that we had a hard time narrowing down our favorites. Enjoy!
