Courtney & Jason’s wedding was the perfect exclamation point to the end of my November weddings! After shooting their Domain engagement session and Courtney’s CTC Gardens bridal photos, I knew this night would be a show stopper! Held at one of my favorite downtown venues, The Mansion at Judge’s Hill was the perfect backdrop for this sunset patio ceremony and took place right when the fall Austin weather was at it’s best. These high school sweethearts started out with a sweet and sentimental “first look” on the veranda, followed by their wedding gift exchange. The sentimental penny theme went from Jason’s new cuff links, all the way down the ceremony aisle, and scattered among the guest tables. The pennies represented Courtney’s Papa, who was a very important part of her life and recently passed on. Blossom Floral Artistry did an amazing job creating a ceremony backdrop of crystal beads combined with yellow and fuchsia orchids. Gorgeous! As the sun set, the couple exchanged their vows and headed upstairs to get the party started. Talk about a family of dancers – everyone tore up the dance floor all night long – with a short break only to cut the cakes and fuel back up. The groom’s cake, an EL CAMINO on a RICE KRISPY road, blew me away with it’s awesomeness. You know you want a bite! The end of the night came to a close with a romantic horse & carriage exit.
