Katie & Paul’s Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center wedding was literally a perfect day, planned exquisitely by Pearl Events! The couple currently lives in Washington DC, and Austin was ready to impress it’s out-of-town guests… the weather was superb, the Texas bluebonnets were in full bloom, and the sunset was ready to show off it’s vibrant colors! The bride got dressed with her family and bridesmaids in the library, and Katie’s father helped her fasten a strand of family pearls they converted to a bracelet. The couple enjoyed a romantic first look, followed by couple’s portraits among the live oaks and wildflowers. I loved the unique field location of the ceremony, with it’s backdrop of lush green and colorful pops of flowers. The couple’s fun love of color is echoed throughout the bright and colorful florals by Verbena, and the royal blue napkins. And showing their true Texas hospitality roots, Katie & Paul’s meal was catered by Taco Deli, with a spread of yummy taco fixings, and the legendary Amy’s Ice Creams for dessert. And as you can tell from the photos, this couple came to DANCE. DJ Sean Alan of ATX DJ pumped out some jams and the dance floor was packed all night long until the couple’s big bubble farewell.
