Does it seem like I’ve been at Umlauf Sculpture Gardens a lot lately? It’s true, but I love it, and shooting Carla and Jeff”s wedding there was a blast! They live in San Francisco but, having met in Austin, decided to have their celebration here.  And they lucked out with one of the first cool Texas nights and a long while.  The Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, with its lush lawn and dramatic sculptures, was the perfect setting for such a hip couple.  The flowers from Rosehip Flora were absolutely beautiful and were a perfect match for the bridesmaid’s (Carla’s daughters) colorful dresses.  The gorgeous food from Ecstatic Cuisine was pleasing to the both vegan and meat eater’s pallet.  To finish the evening at Umlauf the couple danced to a great song by  local Austin band Quiet Company. After the reception, everyone hopped back on the party bus and headed downtown to continue the good times at the Speakeasy.  It was the quintessentially perfect Austin wedding!
