For Dani’s bridals, we decided to go for fun, fun, fun! And is there anything more playful than mini-golf complete with giant concrete turtles and castles? After getting seriously dolled up with hair and make-up by Martha Lynn Barnes (I mean, WOW, she looks amazing!!!), Dani donned the cutest 50′s inspired pola dot & ruffled wedding dress from Unbridaled. If it came in other colors, I’d seriously have to buy it to wear out on the town!!!
After some mini-golf, we headed to a hot pink Bingo Hall (to match her shoes, of course!)where the owner greeted us with open arms. He even brought us out waters, as it was starting to become a pretty hot Austin afternoon. SO sweet!
I am totally in love with both of these gorgeous boquet creations by Melanie at Last Petal! I love it when floral designers go for out-of-the-box ideas like using succulents and winding long stems around the top of the bouqet. Seriously amazing! And she even tied in the hot pink to match Dani’s hot pink pumps.
So brainstorming what other fountain options we had, we decided to hit a fountain in front of an office building downtown. We knew there was a possibility that we’d get kicked out, so they jumped in and we took photos at lightning speed. And right about the time we were taking the last shot, the sun set in-between two buildings in the background, and I fell in love with this shoot forever!
For the other locations, we just wandered around the east side near my studio space and even came upon this cool broken down vintage car sitting in the driveway of a mechanic’s shop, which I ended up loving to pieces!
