So when I first meet a couple who books an engagement session, my initial goals are to: figure out who they are as a couple, how they met, what they’re favorite things to do together are, and where they go and hang out in their free time. For Marisa & Kelly, that meant a happy hour stroll down 6th Street to three of their favorite locations. First up was Jackalope, home of the famous fish bowl drink! The couple were a little bit nervous about having their photo taken, so they indulged themselves in the giant red concoction you see below. Afterward we headed over to the Alamo Ritz, where the couple first met and had their first kiss (awwww!). Finally, we went over to Casino to shoot the couple enjoying a game of pool!
Later, we turned these images into a guest sign-in book at their reception and the guests just loved getting to see all the photos from their engagement session. And the couple got to keep an awesome memory of the day with love notes from friends and family. I highly recommend this!!!
